Giving a Voice to Those Who’ve Lost Theirs
EasyTalk is empowering individuals who have lost the ability to speak, providing personalised AI-powered communication solutions to restore their voice.
Born from a Personal Journey
EasyTalk was born out of one of the most challenging periods of my life. late Last year, my father was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This cruel condition began to rob him of his ability to speak—one of the most fundamental ways we connect with the world.
For our family, it was devastating. My dad has always been a storyteller, someone whose words could light up a room or bring people together. Watching him struggle to communicate was heart-wrenching. It wasn’t just his voice we were losing—it felt like we were losing part of his identity.
As my wedding approached, I realised how much it meant to both of us for him to give a speech on my special day. I couldn’t let MND take that away from him. Using early voice cloning technology, I worked to recreate his voice. It was a labour of love—painstaking and imperfect—but when he stood up at the wedding and delivered his speech in his own voice, it was a moment of pure magic.
The room was filled with tears and smiles. Hearing his familiar voice, with its unique inflections and warmth, was like having a piece of him back. It was a moment I’ll never forget. But beneath the joy, I couldn’t ignore the frustration with the tools we had used. They were clunky, impersonal, and difficult to navigate—especially for someone in my dad’s position.
That experience became a turning point for me. I realised there had to be a better way, not just for my dad, but for the millions of people around the world facing similar challenges. That’s when the idea for EasyTalk was born.
I envisioned a tool that would combine the latest AI technology with a seamless, user-friendly experience. An app that could not only clone voices but also make real-time conversations feel natural and dynamic. An app that would give people like my dad their voices back, in every sense of the word.
EasyTalk is more than an app; it’s a lifeline. It’s a promise that no one should lose their voice, even when words become hard to speak.
